The year of 2000 saw TSR expand to a two boat operation with both a
Bullet in club racing and a F1 boat leased off Craig Bailey Marine, with
the F1 boat TSR competed in the national F1 Tunnel Boat Tour competing in
4 of the 6 rounds series, as well as keep up with club racing with the
Bullet to which TSR kept it’s 1999 title and retained it for 2000 at the
NSW State Titles winning two titles. In 2000 TSR won the Rookie of the
Year in the F1 Tunnel Boat Tour coming home in 11th place in
the first year in F1. TSR crewmembers for 2000 were MARK ADDICOAT, BRAD
CAMPBELL, and STEVE CAMPBELL & DEAN HAYES with PHIL THOPMSON
helping out when he could. TSR had set a standard in presentation and
team merchandise in F1, which upset the establishment to a point that all
the teams had to up there, game for 2001

2001 saw TSR sell off there
Bullet hull boat to concentrate on F1 racing competing all over Australia
from Bundaberg in the north to Perth in the west, the TSR crew pretty much
stayed the same through out 2001 with the hull receiving a new stunning
red & white paint job with silver chequers. TSR finished the 2001 F1
T.B.T in 8th place and was on the improvement for the following
year.2001 was not with its drama’s with a blown motor at Bundaberg and a
lot of tow vehicle dramas thought out the year. At round two & three
TSR race against Two Time World Champion SCOTT GILMAN to which TSR
learnt a hell of a lot off his in driving ability.
TSR RESULTS
2002. 8th PLACE in the F1
TUNNEL BOAT TOUR.
In 2002 TSR had a new paint job which was very similar to the HRT
touring car paint scheme, the reason behind this was in the off season the
TSR Burgess hull had some serious work to it in the off season. With one
of the best presented F1 boats on the water, TSR had a bad year with in it
confine with team turmoil with BRAD CAMPBELL leaving the team after
the Newcastle round and ADAM HUGHES coming onboard as Team Manger.
Also that year TSR raced against the 15 time South African Champion
PETER LINDENBURG in Perth and the was a experience and a half’s
finished the 02 season in 9th place and had a horra of a year
with up to three engine blow ups.

SPOONER GOLD CUP AUSTRLIAN O/BOARD CHAMPIONSHIP—UPPER HAWKSBURY
POWERBOAT CLUB The 2003 F1 season saw a reinvented TSR outfit with a new addition to TSR was a 30ft-enclosed transporter to ferry the F1 around Australia. The transporter was purchased off the Seaquest Race team in mid 2002, even though the transporter was still in Seaquest colours it made its debut at the start of the 2003 series.
The first round at Ballina we had
a trim pump drama which sidelined us fro race 3. The highlight of the 2003
season was a second place to CRAIG BAILEY in the Australian Arch Spooner
Gold Cup held at Weisman Ferry NSW, also during this time TSR had started
to bed in the new 04 rules for the Tunnel boat tour, in doing so we
sacrificed some top end speed. The end of 2003 saw TSR go through a big
step with lead driver Shaun Hughes having his first swim in an F1 in
accident at the Bundy thunder event, Shaun was trap under water fro up to
40seconds and when removed was unconisouis then was transported to
Bundaberg Base Hospital with spinal injueres.7 hours later he was released
with a clearance. For the 2004 season it was not looking good for
TSR.
TSR RESULTS 2004
9th Place in the F1
TUNNEL BOAT TOUR But the 2004 season continued with Craig BAILEY lending TSR its spare hull until their Burgess hull was repaired. In a new boat TSR continued with it professelemism all the way through year till July when OZ Burgess had repaired the TSR main hull in time for TSR home grand prix.
With a new paint job and a
modified hull TSR went to ST George Sydney Grand Prix with high hopes, but
instead had a bloody horror of a weekend with changing 5 trim pump &
for the first time in 5 years TSR did not make the start line for race 1.
But was able to make the following 2 remaining races on the
day.

THUNDER O/BOARD RACE – BUNDABURG POWERBOAT an SKI
CLUB. The 2005 season saw a huge
development in TSR with TSR joining up with Parker Pennzoil Racing to form
HP Watersports and run under that banner. HP Watersports first race meet,
as a two-boat team was the 2004 Bundy Thunder at Bundaberg QLD. Shaun
‘Slipry’Hughes was the driver from HPW that stood out that weekend coming
home in third place, with David having a bad weekend blown up his 2.5
engine. The next major meet for HPW was the Dargle spectacular in January
2005 in which HPW was to race in the Arch Spooner Gold Cup. The result was
a fantastic one with HPW coming home 1-2 in the race with #99 David Parker
winning the Australian Title & #25 Shaun’Slipry’Hughes coming home in
second place.
The next race for the two boat
HPW team was the Taree Easter meet but at this meet the result were a turn
about with #25
Shaun’Slipry’Hughes coming home in second place & #99 David Parker
coming home in third place. #25 Shaun’Slipry’Hughes did unfortunately blow
up his motor in race three out of four, but still managed to claim
2nd place for the weekend. After the Taree weekend
discussion have begun with a naming right sponsor for the 2006 season,
with the idea to run a two-boat team in the Australian Superboat
Series in 2006 series with #25 Shaun
running in a new SST120 class for production motors and #99 David running
in the open class with his 2.5ltr.
The NSW State
tilts were held over two race meetings, one at the Deepwater Motor Boat
Club and the 2nd round held at the Windsor Marine Powerboat
course via the UHPBC. The HPW boat #25 of Shaun Hughes won the NSW State
Unlimited Outboard Title with a 3 wins out of 4 over the two rounds. At
the 2nd round at Windsor the HPW boat debuted a brand new 310hp
motor in rather windy condition but still managed the most speed ever in
5years of running an F1.Presentation for the NSW STATE UNLIMITED OUTBOARD
TITLE will held at the DEEPWATER Motor Boat Club in August 2005.Lead
driver for HPW Watersports Shaun Hughes has come to the decision that in
2006 HPW Watersports will be no longer together and that TSR Racing will
return to F1 racing.
DEEPWATER JUNE SPECTACULAR
For the start of the 2006 season TSR Racing decided on a new colour scheme in the colors of Team Austraila of Green & Yellow. The 2006 season was a reduced race season with the boat named SLIPRY.COM the boat raced at the StGeorge Spectacular in Feb and in June. Also TSR Racing also did the NSW State title at St G & Deepwater & WINDSOR. TSR Racing's SLIPRY.COM raced at the Deepwater June LONG weekend Spectacular. At the St George Speedboat Spectacular TSR Racing picked up a new naming sponser in POLE LINE PHOTOGRAPHY, the boat would be known as the POLE LINE PHOTOGRAPHY/TSR F1. In coming months the team did Bundy thunder with a poor result in blowing the motor in R1 on Sunday So bring on season 2007.
