Slipry (Shaun Hughes, but no one calls him by his name) has been a fixture in power boat racing for more than 20 years. Holding many positions on the administrative side of the sport with NSW APBA, the F1 Tunnel Boat Tour and St George Motor Boat Club one of the major clubs in power boat racing for more than 80 years. Also over the years being a crew member for many of the top teams he now races against, and is a respected competitor.
